Blue Hour Farm is a 3.5 acre, 4 season, diversified farm located six miles from Bloomington, Indiana. We grow over 75 different varieties of vegetables, herbs, small fruits, and flowers.

All of our vegetables are distributed through our CSA membership, a partnership with Mother Hubbards Cupboard, and at Bloomington Farm Stop Collective.

Blue Hour Farm was founded in 2015 by Grant Pershing with a land lease in beautiful Van Buren township. We are dedicated to using organic and sustainable methods to produce the highest quality food from the ground up. Utilizing a broad fork, walk-behind tractor, cover crops, silage tarps, soil testing and a whole lotta love and sweat, we have converted a field of sod into a low till, highly productive farm. We use berms and swales to capture the rain water that falls onto the farm, complimented with over 150 cubic yards of compost (so far). Grant likes to say “I grow the soil and the vegetables tell me how I’m doing.”
